Sarah Hilarides

Sarah Hilarides grew up dancing on the competition stage and has been a part of that world for as long as she can remember. She attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where she received a BA in Musical Theater and Dance. She then made her way to San Francisco where she worked for many years as a professional actress and dancer. She was featured in shows such as Into the Woods, Showboat, and The Mikado. She began choreographing soon after that and traveled around the country producing her works. Sarah is a teacher on the KAR Convention circuit and still choreographs to this day for studios and colleges. At 22 she began working for a national dance competition as an emcee and after working her way up for 5 years she became a Competition Director. Sarah has been working as a Director for Rainbow Dance Competition for the past 3 years and has loved every single minute of it. She truly believes that Rainbow is “The Competition with Heart,” and takes pride in making sure that parents, teachers and dancers alike are all having the best time ever! She is very grateful for the wonderful opportunities that have been given to her and she can't wait to grow and nurture Rainbow Dance!
