Suzanne Barakat comes to us from Brea, California. As a child, she studied with some of the dance industry’s top teachers and choreographers and competed at Kids Artistic Revue all throughout her career. After Suzanne graduated, she began teaching at some of the most prestigious dance studios in Southern California which led her to work as a highly valued judge for KAR. After judging for several years and loving it so much, Suzanne wanted to be even more involved in the company. To date, Suzanne has worked at KAR for over 17 years and with her personable approach with the dancers, teachers and directors, as well as being incredibly thorough and organized, she was promoted to the position of Director. This will be Suzanne’s 7th year now as a director. She loves traveling the nation, meeting new clientele and watching dancers, who return year after year, thriving in their training as they grow. The best part of her job is sharing her passion for dance with students across the nation.
